Entry Process:

There are 200 total entries available.

There are 3 options for entry.

  • First option and guaranteed entry (capped at 200) is to attend and enter at the screening of the Birdy’s Backyard documentary and 2021 release on Sunday 30th August, 2020 at Perth Public House, St Georges Tce, Perth for 3pm start.

  • Second option is a proxy (nominated) entry by someone that is attending the launch that can enter on your behalf (limit 1 proxy per attendee)

  • Third option is for any remaining entries available that will open at 10am, Monday 31st August through this website.

Please note that a waitlist will be put in place if entries sell out.

Refunds (full refund minus $20 admin fee) will only be available if the waitlist is in place and a runner takes up the available position.

 

Entry Costs:

$170 Standard

$150 AURA Members

Please note each runner in must book the minimum 3 nights (Thurs-Sat) camping option, selecting powered or non-powered sites in addition to each entry unless 2 couples are entered together where just one of you will need to select a campsite.

Qualification:

As the event is run on a 6.71km loop course, there are no qualification requirements for Birdy’s Backyard Ultra. Entrants are however expected to be in good health and trained sufficiently.

Aid Stations:

An Aid Station is provided at the start line, and runners will be able to access this every lap.

The aid station will provide the following:

  • Water

  • Bananas / Fruit

  • Lollies

  • Coke

  • Tailwind Nutrition

  • Vegemite Sandwiches

  • Soups in the evenings

 

Runners are also able to set-up their own table with their own supplies.
